Not quite sure how to begin on this one, what an awesome day! With us covering both bridal and groom prep we got some amazing coverage from the get go, which led us on to a fantastic ceremony.
The best part for me was the next stop which was Davids own farm. We shot in his barley fields which was all kinds of awesome! As i’m sure you can tell from the above image, it doesn’t get much better than shooting in barley fields.
Gemma and Jason had their ceremony in Wellington church Ballymena, with the reception being held at the fantastic Leighinmohr House hotel just around the corner. We wandered across the road to get some fantastic portraits of them in the amazing scenery around Galgorm golf course.
Wyonna & Graydon travelled from Canada to get married in Northern Ireland. I had the pleasure of photographing this pre-wedding session with them a week before their wedding.
They got engaged at this very spot on the giants causeway along the north coast, so it felt very fitting returning to capture these images here. We even managed to get an amazing sunset which made for a perfect close to the evening!
A wedding at the Leighinmohr never disappoints. I had the pleasure of photographing Tori & Daryl’s wedding last month, what a day filled with smiles, laughs and sunshine! Scroll down to check out some highlights of their day.
Getting married and love what you see? Feel free to get in touch for further information and packages.
This engagement session was all kinds of awesome. You don’t get many better locations in Northern Ireland than the North Coast, especially Kinbane head, a personal favourite of mine!
We headed there hoping to catch sunset, which provided us with some amazing light. Their puppy Ralph even made an appearance! Apart from the hike back up, what an amazing evening spent with great people and stunning scenery!
A little throwback to Emily & Carls awesome wedding at the Slieve Russell Resort. This wedding was one of the hottest days of the year reaching around 30 degrees. We decided to leave most of the portraits until after dinner and what a great decision with that great evening light. I always recommend couples to do their photoshoot around this time and from these photos i’m sure you can see why!
Another awesome winter wedding I had the pleasure of capturing. Zara and Jordan tied the knot and we then headed to Glenavon Hotel for the reception stopping at the amazing Killymoon castle to capture some great memories. In-between heavy rain showers we got some stunning photos ending with a beautiful sunset.
Stewart and Gens wedding was definitely one to remember! The day was filled with nothing but smiles, laughter, tears and great moods throughout, there was so many special moments captured! During this crisp winter day, we explored the grounds of the beautiful Ballydugan Mill for some awesome portraits, which didn’t require much effort with the connection these guys had!
Galgorm Resort and Spa is a local venue to me and it never disappoints, making it even better with this awesome couple. Filled with nothing but smiles, laughs and raw emotion what a day from start to finish!
The ceremony was held in the Phantom house with the reception in the Renaissance suite, making for some great photo opportunities. Thankful to have been part of their day and able to capture these memories for them.
I always advise couples to go for a pre wedding shoot. This can be a practice session for your big day, these last around an hour and will deliver you with on average 80 photos. Similar to this shoot, sunset makes for some amazing, romantic light and your photos are sure to look awesome!
I met Amy & Peter in Middletown Ballymena to go over their wedding plans and big ideas. From this I knew we were going to have a blast on their wedding day, and we definitely did! The Wool Tower is a local venue to me and one I had wanted to photograph a wedding in since its completion, with this awesome venue and an even better couple we had the best day!
Spending the evening with these guys was awesome, they embraced the trek along tis amazing part of coastline and it was definitely worthwhile!
I always recommend heading out for sunset, at this time of the evening the light is at its best with them natural tones. Even though at this time of year its not the warmest, totally worth it.
